Lakewood Camping Resort is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and elevate all aspects of our resort's food and beverage operations. This role is responsible for ensuring outstanding guest experience, maintaining quality standards, managing staff, and increasing profitability across all Food &Beverage outlets within the resort.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management:
  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including staffing, scheduling, and supervision.
  • Recruit, train, and develop F&B staff, ensuring high levels of guest service and team performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment aligned with Lakewood's values and customer service standards.
  • Create weekly schedules.
  • Operations & Service Excellence:
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service across all venues.
  • Monitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and control costs.
  • Analyze sales data to maximize profitability and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
  • Create and execute seasonal promotions, events, and offerings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure all F&B areas reflect the family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the resort.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with other departments (Events, Marketing, Maintenance, etc.) to coordinate F&B support for resort functions and events.
  • Report regularly to upper management on performance, staffing, and operational updates.
  • Develop a relationship with the guests.

· Menu Planning and Development

  • Collaborate with the executive chef and management team to create seasonal menus that align with guest preferences and dietary needs.
  • Ensure menu items are cost-effective and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage daily food and beverage operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a resort, campground, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required.
