Mobile Hyperbaric Centers (MHC) is seeking a dedicated Office Coordinator to join our innovative team specializing in multiplace hyperbaric oxygen treatment for chronic and non-healing wounds. As an integral part of our mission to "Safely Heal Patients and Have Fun Doing It," you'll manage patient scheduling, documentation, insurance coordination, and administrative tasks in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, is a self-starter with exceptional organizational and communication skills, proficiency in electronic health record systems, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. You'll work collaboratively with our medical team to ensure compliance with industry standards, support program growth initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with patients and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule patients for exams and hyperbaric oxygen treatments (HBOT) using the electronic health record system.
- Obtain necessary medical records, insurance information, and prior authorizations for HBOT. Maintain accurate records to ensure proper billing and compliance with quality assurance programs.
- Manage supply inventory, patient transportation coordination, and communication with referring providers. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Support program growth initiatives and maintain relationships with external providers. Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure operations comply with industry standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare, or a related field
- A self-starter and takes initiative
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Highly interpersonal and exceptional at building and managing relationships
- Experience in marketing and/or sales is a plus
Conditions of Employment:
- Must successfully complete post offer, pre-employment background check/drug test.
Salary:
- Salary for this position is commensurate with skills and experience. MHC also offers an excellent benefits package to all full-time employees.
