Job description:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control and power systems. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and ensure the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our electrical designs.

We are especially seeking candidates with hands-on experience in power supplies, power management, and power converter design—including use of voltmeters, multimeters, function generators, power meters, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, and a solid understanding of circuit design and theory of operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electrical control and power systems for various products and projects.
  • Support full product development life cycle activities — including data analysis, experiments, testing, technical drawings, assembly, and design work.
  • Conduct research and evaluation of electrical components and technologies to optimize performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing) to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, BOMs, and test reports.
  • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in power electronics and control systems.
  • Complete initial technical training within 6 months to operate autonomously and understand project workflows.
  • Demonstrate growth and leadership within one year, with increasing responsibility toward leading a project or subsystem.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience designing and developing electrical control systems or power electronics hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with power supply design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in CAD and ECAD tools such as SolidWorks and Altium Designer (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with high-voltage systems, magnetron or RF power supplies, or vacuum electronics.
  • Knowledge of thermal management, EMC compliance, and system safety considerations.
