Supply Planning Analyst

On-site in Redmond, WA
Summary:
Responsible for developing and implementing production build plans that consider sales order priorities, material availability, cost, and production capacity. Works with Production leadership to maximize output and labor across multiple product lines. Operates under minimal supervision and applies industry principles, theories, and concepts of production planning to solve moderately complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer delivery requirements are met for both internal and external customers.
- Analyze sales orders within planning lead time to confirm material availability for scheduled orders.
- Use MRP and supplier visualization tools, and coordinate with Procurement to verify material availability dates.
- Maintain sales order due dates based on material and capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Order Entry teams to revise priorities and reschedule orders as needed.
- Partner with Operations Project Coordinators and Material Coordinators to manage engineering change implementations.
- Participate in material allocation decisions between production and aftermarket demands.
- Perform analysis to identify trends and issues in production planning and lead corrective actions.
- Serve as a planning representative on cross-functional project teams.
- Use planning tools to develop tactical inventory and supply solutions.
- Support Production Supervisors and Leads in root-cause analysis related to production.
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior planners as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- APICS certification. Preffered
- Experience with QAD or SAP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word; intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Effective teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of business systems for sales order management, production scheduling, inventory control, ERP/MRP, and procurement.
