At PLZ, a Line Leader is responsible for coordinating and supporting production assembly lines; assist team(s) to complete orders, and prepare reports, and making sure production objectives are attained. Will perform in various roles to assist efficient production including reworks and assistance on the line.
Key Responsibility:
- Responsible for ensuring production efficiency.
- Responsible for organization line employees
- Responsible for completing scheduled orders in a timely manner
- Responsible for completion of all paperwork involved with order(s)
- Responsible for monitoring progress / run rate and tracking of it
- Responsible for reviewing product(s) to ensure quality standards are met
- Responsible for keeping and tracking accurate logs
- Responsible for following established safety rules and regulations and enforcing them
- Responsible for reporting to Production Supervisors of any issues on the line or goals
- Responsible for fully understanding goals to be accomplished
- Responsible for housekeeping of production lines, safe and clean workspace
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English; verbal and written form.
- Must possess organizational and leadership skills.
- Must be team orientated and self-directed.
- Must be an effective employee motivator.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be familiar with machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Must be committed to quality, safety and effective communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.

The pay rate for this position is $18.50 per hour to $20.00 per hour, DOE, for the second shift opening.
- The second shift hours are Monday through Thursday 5 pm - 3:30 am (4/10 schedule).
The hiring base salary range above represents what PLZ reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate's relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
