The Role

Floor Care Lead – 2nd Shift (Riverside)We're looking for a reliable and motivated Floor Care Lead to oversee a small team of 3–4 janitorial employees in a busy 7-story facility. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll coordinate and perform floor care duties—including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning—while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and teamwork on your shift. Ideal candidates are experienced with commercial floor equipment, detail-oriented, and confident directing others in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do
  • Oversee 4-5 janitorial associates to ensure work is being met to Company and client standards 
  • Perform a wide range of floorcare duties, including but not limited to stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing.
  • Conduct inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns or requests.
What It Takes To Be Successful
  • Proven experience as a Floorcare Technician, with a strong track record of successfully completing floorcare projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of various floor types, cleaning solutions, and equipment.
  • Ability to quickly assess and address floorcare needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment or floorcare issues.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
