Salento Italia is a neighborhood Italian restaurant from Nashville restaurateurs Bill Darsinos and Sam Darsinos (GReKo, Darfons, SweetMilk, Southside Grill) opening early winter 2023 in Donelson (329 Donelson Pike). The cozy, two-floor standalone Italian spot will welcome guests seven days a week for dinner, Monday - Friday. We're seeking experienced, excellence-driven Hosts to deliver exceptional hospitality to all our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in hospitality and full-service dining
- You bring a passion for culinary, beverage, and service excellence
- You're positive, hospitable, and inclusive by nature
- Able to work weekends as needed
- You're a team player who effectively and graciously communicates with colleagues and guests
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly greet all guests as at our door and by phone and/or email, and thank them when they leave
- Coordinate Takeout and Delivery orders
- Guide guests to their designated tables, communicating notes, special dining requests, etc. to their Server & Management
- Actively maintain an immaculate host stand throughout service, and after
- Regularly check and re-stock the restrooms (30-minute intervals), and communicate cleaning needs to Management
- Identify regular guests, recalling their preferences and needs
- When on a wait, record guest's name and party size, provide an estimated wait time, and contact them when their table is available
- Whenever possible, seat guests based on their stated preferences while balancing dining room
