Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests promptly as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome.

- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.

- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and preferences.

- Utilize Aloha POS system to manage waitlists and table assignments efficiently.

- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.

- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.

- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies as needed.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.

- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management systems is a plus.

- Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help guests enjoy their experience.

- Strong guest relations skills to foster positive interactions with patrons.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
