Position Title: Field Service Technician II

Location: Company location is Benicia, Ca. We are looking for a service tech based out of St Louis, MO

Salary: $65,000-$80,000 DOE

M-F: 6am-2:30pm

*extensive travel 50-75% across U.S, Canada, Mexico and occasionally World Wide

We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician II to join our family. We are looking for a service tech to dispatch out of St Louis, MO.

Description:

  • Take Service calls to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
  • Travel to customer sites across in the U.S. and troubleshoot electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues with the saws and equipment.
  • Perform periodic maintenance and repair equipment on customer saws in the field.
  • Work with the parts department to ensure the correct parts are ordered to complete the repair.
  • Use tools such as dial indicators, calipers, CMM, and multimeter to measure flatness, perpendicularity, parallelism while inspecting equipment.
  • While in house assist assembly in completing build of saws.
  • Complete service reports and travel documentation in timely manner.
  • Work with Service Manager to identify process issues and assist in development on new processes.
  • Read blue prints and diagrams to install/troubleshoot equipment.
  • Install new parts and equipment and test to ensure proper operation.
  • Explain issues to customers and walk through troubleshooting remotely if necessary.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of electrical experience
  • 2+ years of maintenance/mechanical experience
  • 2+ years of trouble shooting experience
  • Great Work ethic
  • Preferred:
  • 5+ years of troubleshooting experience
  • Electrical or mechanical certifications
  • Forklift experience
