Lee Manor in Des Plaines is seeking a full-time Business office manager/ financial coordinator to join our team in the finance office of our Skilled Nursing Facility.
The ideal candidate must be detailed oriented, ability to multi-task effectively, computer proficient, be able to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain, balance and input census accurately.
· Interacts with home office billing team and payers to define billing requirements and ensures prompt payment of claims.
· Collection of private and income money owed to facility.
· Process trust fund requests and maintain trust accounts.
· Prepare deposits daily.
· Assists with Medicaid applications, and works with residents, family and applicable outside agencies to finalize facility coverage through Medicaid.
· Complete Medicaid redeterminations.
· Submission of 1156 for admissions, discharges, and income changes.
· Verification of financial benefits – HIQA, MEDI, and Insurance verification.
· Meet with families to discuss financial obligations.
· Must understand Accounts Receivable
Requirements:
· High comfort level in meeting with residents/family to discuss financial obligations.
· Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid, insurance billing/collection procedures.
· Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred but not required.
· Minimum 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN SNF BUSINESS OFFICE ROLE REQUIRED
· Good organizational, planning, and administrative skills
