Role Overview:

We are seeking a Paid Media Manager to support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media brand campaigns across digital and offline channels. This is a hands-on role for a media professional experienced in collaborating with agency partners, managing budgets and timelines, and driving impactful brand initiatives. The contractor will work closely with marketing, creative, analytics, and media teams to ensure campaigns deliver on brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute brand awareness media plans across all paid channels.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to ensure campaigns launch on time, on budget, and align with goals.
  • Lead custom content partnerships, developing integrated cross-channel plans and managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor live campaigns, pacing, and budget utilization.
  • Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate media plan documentation and process optimizations.
  • Oversee creative rotation, flighting, and landing experiences to align with strategy and placements.
  • Review performance reports for accuracy, insights, and actionable next steps.
  • Create executive summaries of media plans and campaign performance.
  • Serve as primary contact for media agencies and internal partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, content, and analytics teams to ensure seamless activation.

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in paid media planning and execution (agency or client side).
  • Experience managing both online and offline paid media.
  • Proven ability to manage custom content partnerships, project timelines, and budgets.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with dashboards and tools (Google Analytics, platform tools, etc.).
  • Experience collaborating with agencies and influencing internal teams to deliver high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated success with brand/awareness/upper-funnel campaigns.
  • Global campaign experience is strongly preferred.
  • AI-curious mindset – up to date on emerging trends and technologies in the marketing and advertising space.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a contract environment.

  • Paid media experience (digital + offline)
  • Agency experience (agency-side or managing agencies)
  • Strong analytical and budget management skills
  • Campaign and project management expertise
  • Global brand/awareness campaign experience

Flexible / Nice-to-Have:

  • B2B experience preferred, but strong B2C or large-client experience acceptable
  • AI curiosity required; technical AI skills can be learned on the job

Work Setup & Logistics:

  • On-site in Santa Clara on Tuesdays
  • PST working hours (Only local candidates)
  • Laptop: No specific requirement (Mac or Windows acceptable)
  • Potential to convert to full-time based on performance
