The Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced General Managerwith strong manufacturing and continuous improvement skills to join our team. The position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our products are produced efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives

  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and inventory management

  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards

  • Implement and maintain best practices for quality control and continuous improvement

  • Manage and develop a team of manufacturing professionals, providing coaching, training, and support as needed

  • Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure that manufacturing operations are aligned with customer needs and expectations

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that manufacturing operations are financially sustainable and profitable

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities for improvement and growth

What we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership roles.

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and best practices as well as commercial and customer facing experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets

  • Results-driven, with a track record of delivering on targets and driving continuous improvement
