The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Provides individualized assistance, support and comprehensive coordination of care for patients and their families/caregivers, to eliminate barriers to timely care, facilitate flow through system, facilitate interactions with care team, increase patient and provider satisfaction, maintain point of contact with providers and serve as first point of contact for patients and families.

FT position available (40 hours, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays).

Join our Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab in this unique role designed to streamline the scheduling process for Cardiac and Vascular procedures. The Cardiac Cath & EP nurse navigator collaborates with outpatient cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular offices. The nurse navigator works alongside anesthesia and scheduling of cases, as well as obtaining specialty services such as cardiac surgery and plastic surgery, perfusion, OR nursing, and Cardiac Anesthesia. The nurse navigator assesses and reviews all scheduled cases and communicates frequently with the outpatient clinics. Concierge service for EP procedure scheduling. Must possess strong communication skills, be proactive and independent in decision making, and have strong organizational skills. RN with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology preferred.
