Consolidated Medical Travel is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Cardiac Cath LabDiscipline: RNStart Date: 01/05/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelPosition: Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse – Inpatient & OutpatientSchedule Preferences:36 hours per week (preferred)Options: 4 × 10-hour shifts or 3 × 12-hour shiftsTypical hours: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm or 7:00 am – 7:30 pmIncludes weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit as neededUnit Overview:The Cath Lab manages adult and pediatric patients across 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, performing both mechanical and electrical diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The lab offers:Comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care areasA collaborative practice model with RN staff and CVTsFocus on excellent patient outcomes and satisfactionRequired Experience & Certifications:Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experienceBLS (AHA)ACLS (AHA)Moderate sedation trainedDysrhythmia recognitionTelemetryMust-Have Clinical Skills:Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman proceduresRight Heart & Left Heart HemodynamicsCardiac interventions: CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTrieverMechanical Circulatory Support: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVADStructural Heart experience: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, ASACritical care or advanced cardiac experiencePreferred / Nice to Have:Cardiovascular certification or RCESFamiliarity with device and ablation procedures/equipmentEP Lab experienceRole Highlights:Participate in high-acuity cardiac care and advanced interventionsWork in a team-oriented environment emphasizing patient safety, outcomes, and professional developmentOpportunity to precept, charge, and engage in committee work
