Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking vehicle usage
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and repairs to ensure all vehicles are safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance
  • Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle costs, and operational efficiency to optimize budget management
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards
  • Lead procurement processes for vehicle acquisition, disposal, and leasing arrangements
  • Develop and implement policies for vehicle usage, safety protocols, and driver conduct
  • Conduct regular audits of fleet records, driver logs, and incident reports to maintain accuracy and accountability

Skills

  • Proven experience in fleet management or transportation operations with a strong understanding of logistics processes
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership qualities to motivate and guide drivers and team members toward shared goals
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in fleet management software or related technology tools for tracking and reporting
  • Exceptional communication skills to coordinate across departments and with external vendors
  • Ability to analyze data for operational improvements and cost savings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115, $125,000.00 per year
