Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Advanced Health and Wellness location in Fayetteville, AR. This is a full-time, M-F position with no nights or weekends required. The schedule will me Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
  • Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
  • Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
  • Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
  • Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
  • Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.    
  • Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA. 

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Registered Medical Assistant required.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish required
  • Previous MA experience preferred
