Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Process Improvement specialist to support enterprise onboarding initiatives within a leading financial services organization. This role will be instrumental in mapping, analyzing, and reimagining operational processes to align with strategic product delivery goals. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) methodologies, thrives in collaborative environments, and takes a proactive, curious approach to process optimization.
This is a 12-month hybrid (4-days onsite) contract based in Lake Mary, Florida with a strong potential for converting to a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Mapping: Lead the documentation and visualization of current and future state workflows using BPMN standards and process mapping tools.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Host working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to identify pain points, gather insights, and align on business requirements.
Operational Analysis: Evaluate existing business and operational processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements that support strategic objectives.
Workshop Facilitation: Conduct engaging and productive process review workshops to foster alignment and drive consensus across technical and non-technical teams.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that process improvements support broader product strategy and enterprise onboarding goals.
Process Documentation: Develop high-quality process documentation, narratives, and visual workflows that clearly communicate requirements and proposed changes.
Continuous Improvement: Implement and track performance metrics to monitor the impact of process enhancements and ensure sustainability.
Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in process improvement and provide strategic input to shape operational best practices within the team.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or process engineering roles
Proficiency in BPMN modeling and tools
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal oversight
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Experience working on complex process improvement projects within a structured environment
Experience with current state vs. future state process design and gap analysis
Prior success leading stakeholder discovery efforts and guiding teams toward innovative process solutions
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with financial services or onboarding operations in an enterprise setting
Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Track record of contributing to collaborative team environments and self-managing within a defined domain.
