We're currently looking for a talented and highly organized Event Designer with Sales Experience to join our team and work directly alongside the Owner / Lead Designer to bring our events to life.

Position Overview:
As an Event Designer, you'll be at the heart of our creative process. This role blends design, planning, logistics, and leadership. You'll work closely with clients and vendors, create visual proposals, manage design execution, and lead our setup crew on-site. We're looking for someone who's creative, proactive, reliable, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with leads and existing clients regarding event design and planning needs
- Create custom proposals for services including: backdrops, party décor, floral arrangements, balloon installations, overall planning and styling
- Design visual mockups using Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop for client approval, based on budget and logistical constraints
- Generate work orders for approved designs and coordinate with the production team for execution
- Source and order event supplies, rentals, and decor items; ensure quality control for colors, materials, and final details
- Maintain ongoing communication with vendors and clients throughout booking and execution process
- Coordinating the delivery, setup, and installation of all design elements on the day of the event.
- Lead onsite execution for all events, directing a team of staff (1+) to install backdrops, décor, florals, and balloon installations
- Manage tight timelines and venue restrictions to execute seamless setups
- Follow up with new inquiries, assist with planning details, and support the Owner in managing multiple events simultaneously
- Maintain accurate documentation and project updates internally
- Assisting with production in balloon installations, painting, crafts, floral etc every event has different needs.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time: Tuesday–Saturday (40 hours/week) Weekends are mandatory
- Sunday availability required when events are scheduled (with 2 weekdays off if weekend is worked)
- Occasional overtime and flexibility required, especially during peak seasons
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in event design and rendering mock-ups via adobe suite / canva may be considered, event planning, floral design, must have experience in balloon and backdrop styling, or a related creative field
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (mockup samples requested)
- 1+ years of sales experience in client communication & design proposals
- Hands-on experience with event installations, styling, floral artwork, crafts
- Strong eye for detail, layout, color, and composition
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills—especially under tight deadlines
- Ability to lead teams onsite with professionalism and efficiency
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-starter who thrives in both collaborative and independent roles
- Must be comfortable working with your hands, lifting up to 25 lbs, and standing for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and driving a long wheel transit and 16 foot box truck
- Must be open to signing an NDA upon hiring
Bonus Skills:
- Vendor sourcing and budgeting experience
- Familiarity with event production timelines and logistics
