Details
This is a
floater position
that provides flexible coverage across multiple shifts and functions within the Hope Center. The schedule will vary based on operational needs and may include
day, evening, or overnight shifts
, ensuring that shelter operations are consistently supported. Candidates must be available to work
both weekdays and weekends
as assigned. Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
Interview Process
- Initial prescreen interview via Microsoft Teams
- Onsite interview with the client at The Hope Center for candidates selected to move forward
Compensation
Hourly Rate:
$18.00 per hour
Pay Schedule:
Weekly, via direct deposit through ATHENA's timekeeping system (
Paycom
)

Job Summary
The
Floater Case Monitor
provides on-site operational and client support at the
New Castle County Hope Center
. This position serves as a flexible resource, covering shifts and assignments as needed to maintain smooth and continuous operations. The role includes client interaction, facility monitoring, administrative support, and coordination with program staff to ensure residents receive safe and consistent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coverage across multiple shifts and functions within the Hope Center.
- Verify and facilitate building entry for clients, staff, and visitors.
- Support intake, referrals, and room move-in/move-out inspections.
- Retrieve, organize, and distribute meals, supplies, and donations.
- Assist with volunteer coordination and administrative duties.
- Conduct facility checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
- Support client programs such as Rent Readiness and Housing Locator services.
- Serve as an adaptable team member, filling in where needed to maintain service continuity.
