Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive outside sales efforts to identify new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct thorough product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients on roofing options and solutions.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and leveraging CRM software to track prospects and follow-ups.
  • Manage existing accounts with excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Develop and execute territory management strategies to maximize sales potential across designated regions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that boost lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools for detailed analysis of sales data, pipeline management, and reporting.
  • Upsell additional services or products by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, product features, and competitive landscape to stay ahead in B2B sales environments.

Experience

  • Proven success in outside sales or business development roles, preferably within the roofing or construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in territory management, lead generation, and direct B2B sales strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to close deals effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce for managing customer relationships and analyzing sales metrics.
  • Background in technical sales or product demos that require explaining complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with marketing techniques including cold calling, retail sales approaches, and inside sales tactics.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while delivering exceptional customer service.
