Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator

Job Requirements:
Maintaining a presentable, professional appearance with a friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude is a must Excellent communication skills and working as a team player is essential to making our practice successful and imperative for this position. Experience answering and responding to telephone calls and emails with professionalism, scheduling of patients and the ability to successfully multitask front office operations. Ideal candidate will be able to answer basic financial questions, familiar with TopsOrtho software and some insurance knowledge is preferred as well as Dental/Orthodontics knowledge.
Job Duties:
Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice. Check in patients according to office protocol, verifying and updating patient information and insurance. Verify patients' dental insurance. Collect payment from patients at the time of treatment. Make follow-up appointments as needed. Keeping to a minimum and even reducing no-shows/late patients. Check patient quick-fill and recall list to try to fill in cancellation and no-show appointment times. Confirm the next day's appointments.
