Job Description: Behavior Technician

Duties:

  • Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide personalized one-on-one support and assistance to clients in diverse settings.
  • Collect and meticulously record data on client behaviors and progress.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support strategies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment plans.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines, maintaining strict confidentiality of client information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of special education principles and practices.
  • Experience in a behavioral health setting, especially with children, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and techniques.
  • Proficiency in following medical documentation protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 10 – 40 per week
