The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston, WV (CSB) is a municipal sewer utility serving Charleston and adjacent areas of Kanawha County, WV.

General Description

The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston, West Virginia (CSB) is seeking a Customer Service Specialist (Teller) for its Customer Service Department.

Essential Duties

· Collect cash and credit card payments with accuracy.

· Balancing teller fund and preparing deposit.

· Recording customer account changes.

· Dispense information to customers, in person and via telephone.

· Negotiating payment arrangements on past due accounts.

· Researching uncollectible accounts.

· Process collection letters and prepare for mailing.

· Prepare reconnect forms for WVAWC to reconnect service.

· Fast paced customer contact problem solving.

Education and Experience:

· Accuracy in fast paced cash handling or teller experience.

· Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word & Excel).

· Must be able to use a 10 key adding machine accurately and efficiently.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· High school diploma or GED required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35, $40,000.00 per year
