Responsibilities

A.O. Smith Corporation (Nashville, TN) seeks to hire an SAP – TM Analyst.  

The specific job responsibilities of the position include: (i) Gather information of business processes regarding the SAP Transportation Management system and configure/integrate with other modules of SAP, including setting up new warehouses and assisting in the writing of interfaces for middleware and outside warehouse applications (25%); (ii) gather information of processes in SAP Procurement and configure SAP Procurement and integration with other modules of SAP, including supporting day-to-day procurement activities across all organizations (20%); (iii) provide functional specifications for Technical Developers in design and development of forms, input templates and reports, participate in technical reviews to validate designs involved in SAP TM implementation, and document functional requirements for development of integrated solution in SAP TM (15%); (iv) provide functional specifications for Technical Developers in design and development of forms, input templates and reports (15%); (v) participate in technical reviews to validate designs involved in SAP Procurement and document functional requirements for development of integrated solutions in the procurement space (10); (vi) execute transportation and procurement processes in test scripts (TM, freight payments, and vendor set up, Stock Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders, etc) and provide support in defect resolution (10%); and (vii) understand end users' business needs, define requirements using existing SAP templates for manufacturing plants/system enhancements, and communicate these to SAP functional teams (5%).

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, or a related field or its equivalent, and two (2) years of related work experience with SAP applications.

• The candidate must also have demonstrated experience implementing life cycle of SAP ECC and Transportation Management, as well as demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing plant personnel with day-to-day ERP system processes.
