POSITION OVERVIEW:
Analyze operational data/methods, identify performance improvement opportunities and/or implement technology systems that meet business objectives. Provide analysis, reporting tools and support for field operations to effectively control and/or justify operational costs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze data obtained through multiple sources including data mining tools and other statistical analysis tools
- Research, analyze and consolidate technical or engineering related information and present for management review
- Develop, evaluate, document and improve operations methods to work area design, process flow and work methods
- Monitor, analyze and recommend ways to improve productivity, service and cost performance in all areas of operations in conjunction with management
- Collaborate with all levels of field leadership to identify trends in performance
- Establish a communication link between operations and corporate departments; provide data and technical expertise relating to facility and equipment planning, layout and cost justification
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop and implement corporate projects
- Provide education and support for new technology deployments
- Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Transportation or related field or equivalent work experience plus three (3) years' professional experience in applied engineering concepts and technology
- Knowledge of equipment and properties resource planning
- Experienced with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications
- Knowledge of mapping applications
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
