Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- CBCP, MBCI, CRISC, CISA, or CISSP certification, or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience with disaster recovery (DR) within a regulated industry.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience applying regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, FFIEC) to BC/DR programs.
- Experience with risk management and risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms and architectures.
- Knowledge of global IT regulatory requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners.

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Business Continuity and Resilience team, part of the High Priority Operational Risk Programs (HPOP) within Cloud CISO Risk and Compliance, supports operational resilience for Google Cloud. The team delivers a consistent framework for operational resilience, combining business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR), across operations and products. This is achieved by managing programs aligned with industry best practices and designed against likely disruption scenarios to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
In this role, you will help drive and monitor the resilience of Google Cloud teams and products by implementing BC/DR requirements. You will be responsible for conducting business impact analyses, developing comprehensive plan documentation, and executing tests and exercises. You will help drive continuous improvement in the resilience posture through applying industry best practices into requirements, utilizing data analysis to inform leadership on current capabilities. As a member of the broader Risk and Compliance team, you will work with subject matter experts to interpret new requirements and integrate them into programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities- Anticipate issues and propose solutions, manage dependencies and cross-functional issues, and identify the need to develop or improve tools/processes and evidence.
- Architect, coordinate, and monitor key DR risks in context to executive stakeholders within Google Cloud.
- Communicate analysis and decisions to stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written media.
- Partner with enterprise risk and compliance teams to interpret and implement new requirements.
- Drive remediation of identified compliance gaps.
