We Are Looking for Someone Like You

As the HR Generalist, you will be a vital member of Murphy's Human Resources team. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of human resources functions for our Colorado team including onboarding, recruiting, HRIS, and training. This position will support the HR Director on many companywide HR initiatives as well.

Your Day-to-Day at Murphy Company

  • Support our recruiting efforts by partnering with our recruiter to post positions, evaluate candidates, and conduct pre-screen interviews.
  • Manage the Administrative Team and their day-to-day activities.
  • Manage new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process for all Colorado and Wyoming-based employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures to employees.
  • Lead the planning for key employee-facing events.
  • Assist with HR projects as needed.

Bring Your A-Game

Our ideal candidate should possess the following traits:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR generalist
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms. Paycor experience is a plus.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
