Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking incoming phone calls, dispatching calls logistically to drivers, and coordinating operations seamlessly. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Dispatch calls efficiently to drivers, ensuring optimal route logistics.
- Monitor ongoing service calls and provide updates as necessary.
- Coordinate with drivers to manage workload and response times.
- Maintain accurate records of call details and dispatch activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Prior experience in dispatching or related roles is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication, geographical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
- Independence: Able to work well without direct supervision.
- Pace: Capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using dispatch software, maps and phone systems.

Duties
- Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring services arrive on time for customers and managing the fleet efficiently.
- Analyze logistical data to optimize routes and improve efficiency for drivers.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) like Google maps, to enhance route planning.
- Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor fleet performance and address any issues that arise.
Experience
- Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with fleet management principles is a plus.
- Proficiency in mapping/geographical software to analyze information for decision-making purposes.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and external partners.
- Experience with fleet management software or tools is preferred.
