About the job

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the marinas in their portfolio. Oversight includes storage revenue, fuel sales, boat rentals, cabin/condo rentals, retail, and other related items which guide GMs in their decision-making process. This position will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting frequently with the Company's founders, and report to the Director of Operations

This is a remote/hybrid position that requires 30-40% travel.

Candidates should be based in the eastern half of the US (ET or CT time zone) and near a major metro airport to facilitate travel to our portfolio of properties.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations

  2. Drive marina management culture consistent with company values

  3. Oversee proper Rent Roll Updates and contract management
  4. Collaborate with marina managers to prioritize projects and produce weekly financial reviews
  5. Identify areas of improvement and work with marina managers to execute improvements
  6. Drive marina manager compliance with management operating procedures, including software adoption
  7. Lead the talent management, interview and hiring of new marina managers
  8. Develop annual and ad-hoc forecasting and budgets
  9. Maintain competitive market analysis for each marina
  10. Leverage data for recommendations on market positioning and capital expenditures

  11. Implement safety programs and equipment line protection to safeguard equipment and staff

  12. Service

  13. Monitor service department KPIs

  14. Direct oversight of Service Technician hiring and retention

  15. Create/support training opportunities to expand skills across the service team

  16. Construction & Project Management

  17. Lead contract negotiation and management on all major construction projects

  18. Assist properties with ROI Analysis on all capital expenditure projects
  19. Assist properties with Vendor Management

  20. Create, manage, and track spend of Project Plans with properties

  21. Systems

  22. Assist with standardizing marina operating and accounting systems

  23. Oversee data collection and prep
  24. Work with accounting team and property teams to validate data

  25. Oversee system implementations at properties

  26. Growth

  27. Identify areas to enhance marinas with additional offerings that generate revenue growth

  28. Drive EBITDAM initiatives through better efficiency and inventory management
  29. Develop and refine reporting tools and metrics to measure progress

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Working in a team environment to achieve team, departmental, and company goals
  • Ability to effectively adjust to major changes in work tasks or the work environment
  • Proficient in MOLO marina software, Wrike project management software, and Pipedrive CRM software is not required, but nice-to-have
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Skilled at building a cohesive team and facilitating goal accomplishment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110, $120,000.00 per year
