Job Overview

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will inspire your team, manage daily operations, and implement strategies to elevate our hospitality offerings. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily food and beverage operations across all outlets, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, bar service, and quick service environments.
  • Lead staff training initiatives to ensure adherence to food safety standards, proper food handling, and excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize profitability.
  • Oversee systems such as Toast and OpenTable for accurate order processing and cash handling procedures.
  • Coordinate shift management activities, including scheduling staff, supervising kitchen and front-of-house teams, and ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Implement food production standards for quality consistency while supervising culinary staff in food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
  • Monitor budget adherence, control costs related to food procurement and labor expenses while maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations by maintaining rigorous food safety practices and conducting regular safety audits.
  • Promote a vibrant team environment through leadership in staff development, performance evaluations, and recognition programs.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in restaurant management or hospitality management roles.
  • Proven skill set and experience in Wine sales and knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and kitchen management practices.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
  • Strong background in supervising staff within fast-paced environments like quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
  • Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to drive operational efficiency.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences across various dining formats including fine dining or banquet settings.
  • Leadership qualities with experience in training & development, team management, interviewing candidates, and managing shift operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for ensuring compliance across all outlets.
  • Hospitality or culinary degree is preferred; experience in hotel or catering environments is advantageous.
