About the Role

We are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Sales Representative & Scrap Buyer to expand our network of industrial, demolition, and manufacturing clients. This role centers on sourcing scrap metal, negotiating competitive pricing, and securing long-term partnerships while representing PRO V Enterprises with professionalism, transparency, and integrity.

You will be the face of our scrap division—identifying opportunities, visiting facilities, quoting material, and ensuring a seamless experience from pickup to payment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow relationships with industrial manufacturers, fabricators, demolition contractors, and scrap generators.
  • Conduct on-site evaluations of scrap metal, determine grades, and provide accurate pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and service agreements aligned with company goals.
  • Coordinate with dispatch and yard teams to arrange timely pickups and service schedules.
  • Track market trends and metal pricing to ensure competitive and profitable buying.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, pricing, and material volumes.
  • Represent PRO V Enterprises professionally in all customer interactions, site visits, and industry events.
  • Uphold all safety, environmental, and operational standards during customer visits and inspections.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in scrap buying, metals recycling, industrial sales, or demolition/construction sales (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap grades (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Proven ability to negotiate, build trust, and close deals.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for customer visits.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
  • Ability to conduct physical inspections of scrap metal in industrial environments.
