Job Summary

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process of goods and services, focusing on supplier management, purchase order execution, and stakeholder collaboration. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will ensure compliance, drive cost efficiencies, and support continuous process improvement within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and follow up on purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely execution.
  • Handle schedule changes, supplier issues, and resolution of PO problems.
  • Update and maintain ERP systems for procurement processes.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, releases, and invoice concerns.
  • Support coordination between internal requesters and external suppliers.
  • Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including PO creation, invoice clearance, and blanket agreements.
  • Track and report procurement performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with a global team of buyers (including Brazil and Colombia).

Operational Support

  • Work closely with 14 other buyers globally.
  • Engage with both internal business units and external vendors.
  • Contribute to small project teams with typical goals delivered in 1–3 months.
  • No vehicle, travel, or customer site presence is required.
  • Office-based role with hybrid flexibility (in-office Tue/Wed/Thur).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role.
  • Experience managing high volumes of Purchase Order Requests (PORs).
  • Proficiency with blanket purchase orders and vendor agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement operations and supplier management.
  • Excellent coordination and communication with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, OR high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in sourcing.
  • Experience with Oracle Pascal and Oracle Oscar.
  • Experience in industrial energy technology sectors.
