Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Team Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial driving, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. This role involves operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers single and double's to transport goods to designated FedEx locations. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate trucks equipped with manual and automatic transmission and various trailer types including dry van single and doubles.
  • No loading or unloading. All drop and hook.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a truck driver with a strong background in route driving and delivery driver experience, or graduate of an approved Truck Driving School.
  • Familiarity with operating tractor-trailers.
  • Ability to handle manual transmission and automatic vehicles effectively.
  • No loading or unloading
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
