Wealth Partners Capital Group ("WPCG") is a West Palm Beach, Florida-based financial services holding company. WPCG was launched in June 2017 and currently has capital investments in eight large wealth management firms. WPCG's mission, in partnership with these eight firms, is to identify, value, negotiate with and acquire smaller firms and merge them into its partner firms. Since its inception, WPCG has closed 178 transactions on behalf of its partner firms, which have added approximately $76 billion to their assets under management ).

WPCG is seeking to hire a Business Development / Sales Associate. The Sales Associate position at WPCG has a sourcing and business development role on the M&A team. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and sourcing new acquisition targets for WPCG's partner firms. Successful Sales Associates will have the opportunity to accompany senior WPCG colleagues on initial calls / meetings, while getting a look into the deal cycle (from initial conversation through valuation, negotiation, and signing). Given the strength of the WPCG acquisition model, WPCG partner firms anticipate closing multiple transactions each year.

Individuals who demonstrate impressive business development success over the course of two to three years with WPCG will have the opportunity for advancement in a Corporate Development / M&A role at one of WPCG's partner firms.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Managing outreach to wealth management firms and teams across multiple geographies
  • Planning and coordinating initial calls / meetings with WPCG senior colleagues
  • CRM management
  • Other transaction and team responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Skills and qualifications include:

  • 1-2 years working experience in a (outbound) business development role (a plus if within the Financial Services industry)
  • Demonstrable history of successful business development results
  • Experience with RIAs and Financial Advisors a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in CRM, PowerPoint, MS Office
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Excellent sales capabilities and communication skills

  • Compensation package ranges from $90-120k per year, commensurate with experience
