Floral Designer

We are looking for a creative and organized floral designer to join our team
Our ideal candidate will have:
At least one year of floral design experience with a portfolio showcasing skills. Experience with wedding and sympathy design is a plus.
Knowledge about the care and handling of fresh flowers and foliage.
Ability to price floral designs and fill orders to value.
Friendly customer service skills with proficiency in cashiering.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, this includes weekends and some holidays.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Creating floral arrangements for the front cooler and for customer orders.
Answering phone calls and helping customers with any questions they may have.
Cleaning the shop as needed and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Maintaining fresh product in cooler. This includes removing old product, checking buckets for foliage and water, and using FIFO when selecting product for designs.
-Help with the design and set up of events and weddings.
-Processing orders and ringing out customers.
- Ensuring arrangements are made in a timely manner and are ready for their designated delivery date.
Start date will be during the first or second week of November. Pay is dependent on experience and skill level.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
