Tom Wood Powersports Indy is seeking a full-time Experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a passion for both mechanics and outdoor recreation, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. 

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturdays 

Responsibilities:  

  • Diagnose complex problems on multiple manufacturer's products by using latest diagnostic equipment  
  • Complete complex repairs within timelines specified by the manufacturer and dealership.
  • Perform routine maintenance and assembly of new units  
  • Perform additional functions in the dealership as needed, including but not limited to service writing, parts counter assistance, unit pickup and delivery, and assisting apprentice techs as needed  
  • Attend periodic training in remote locations as well as on-site   

Qualifications:  

  • Strong passion for the powersports industry
  • Formal training, preferably with one of the major metric motorcycle manufacturers and or MMI
  • Proven experience in powersports or automotive repair
  • Must have a "sales and customer service" attitude and aptitude and be able to communicate professionally with customers  
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
  • Required- Valid driver's license, with motorcycle endorsement plus a clean driving record
