Tom Wood Subaru in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a Service Porter & QC Specialist to support the service department's daily operations and maintain high-quality standards for every vehicle serviced. This dual-role position is responsible for transporting vehicles safely, organizing service flow, and performing final inspections to verify services meet dealership expectations.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Safely move, park, and retrieve customer vehicles within the dealership lot.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and shop spaces.
  • Greet customers in the service lane and assist with directing them to advisors as needed.
  • Ensure vehicles are staged appropriately for technicians and ready for customer pickup
  • Perform thorough post-service inspections to verify that all repairs, maintenance, and services were completed correctly
  • Identify issues or discrepancies and communicate them promptly to service advisors or technicians.
  • Ensure every vehicle meets dealership quality standards prior to returning it to the customer.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to a positive dealership experience.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

  • Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Maintains a high level of customer service, always being positive and outgoing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Required- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
