Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse-Dock Associate to join our logistics team in Elk Grove Village. Position hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, life insurance, and 401K retirement plan.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trailers in a safe manner utilizing forklift and pallet jack
  • Ensure accurate documentation and inventory control
  • Assist with warehouse organization, inventory, and material staging
  • Ability to work independently, provide customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Work in non-climate-controlled areas
  • Strong attention to detail needed
  • Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling
  • Maintain the warehouse and truck yard repair area
  • Regular and full attendance is essential

Requirements

  • Basic computer and math skills including Word, Excel, and Gmail
  • Prior warehouse experience in distribution, shipping & receiving preferred
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to safety procedures and efficient workflow practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
