Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely across the facility
  • Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track stock levels accurately and facilitate inventory control
  • Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment activities with precision to ensure timely delivery
  • Conduct shipping & receiving tasks by verifying shipments via RF scanners and ensuring proper documentation for all inbound and outbound goods
  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations during heavy lifting, materials handling, and equipment operation
  • Assist with warehouse distribution tasks such as load & unload operations, construction material handling, and mechanical maintenance when needed
  • Support warehouse supervision efforts by participating in inventory audits, cycle counts, and implementing best practices for warehouse management

Experience

Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution and materials handling

  • Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate stock tracking
  • Previous warehouse supervision experience is highly desirable to support team coordination and safety compliance
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance is a plus
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for safe lifting and equipment use
  • Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and standing for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail
