Position Summary:

The Reservationist & Room Service Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of guest reservations for Casa Tua New York, ensuring an outstanding dining experience. Additionally, this role will handle room service order taking for the Hotel, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Reservationist Duties:

Manage and coordinate dining reservations via phone, email, and online platforms. Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including addressing inquiries and special requests.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials, and policies.

Handle booking modifications and cancellations with professionalism and efficiency. Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth seating arrangements and guest experiences.

Room Service Order Taking:

Answer room service calls promptly and courteously, taking accurate orders from guests following Forbes standards.

Provide detailed information about the room service menu, including specials and dietary accommodations.

Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely preparation and delivery.

Address any guest concerns or special requests related to room service.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace for order taking and coordination.

Work closely with the hotel's front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a reservationist or customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in reservation and order management software.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.

A positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing outstanding guest service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
