Senior Product Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to lead the development and management of innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and a deep understanding of emerging technologies such as SaaS, IoT, and APIs. This role requires leadership in cross-functional teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans. The Senior Product Manager will oversee product strategy, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs and business objectives.

Duties

• Define and execute product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, creating detailed user stories, test cases, wireframes, and specifications using tools like Balsamiq and UML.
• Collaborate with development teams utilizing Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, TFS, Jira, VersionOne, and project management software to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Manage the entire SDLC process from initial concept through deployment, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to integrate products with existing systems such as databases (SQL), IT governance frameworks, and enterprise architecture.
• Oversee product development cycles for mobile applications, web platforms using HTML, APIs, Java, and other technologies.
• Utilize analytics tools like Looker to monitor product performance and inform future enhancements.
• Engage with stakeholders for B2B sales strategies and customer feedback to refine product offerings.
• Lead cross-functional teams through effective communication and leadership to foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product management within SaaS, IoT, or enterprise software environments.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of AWS cloud services, APIs, Java development, SQL databases, HTML, UML modeling, Git version control, and Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFe), Waterfall processes, Jira, TFS, VersionOne, and project management tools.
• Experience in requirements gathering, wireframing (Balsamiq), test case creation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and analysis skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure governance standards and IT governance frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; advanced certifications in product management or Agile methodologies are a plus. Pay: $ $65.00 per hour
