GUEST EXPERIENCE MANAGER
The
Guest Experience Manager
will act as a true ambassador of the Superblue brand, overseeing the daily operations and staff management of the Guest Experience team with a specific emphasis on guest experience and satisfaction. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, their priority will be to ensure that the staff is creating a highly positive guest experience and providing an exceptional standard of customer at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the day to day operations of the guest experience team including scheduling of staff
- Supervise personnel which typically includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
- Resolve general complaints and issues from guests on site, escalate efficiently when required
- Assist the AGM and GM with the planning and preparation for exhibitions and other EAC events, providing logistics, administration and any other ad-hoc support required
- Act as a custodian and safeguard of EAC installations, premises, equipment and materials, ensuring visitor guidelines are adhered to and the value and condition of the aforementioned is not compromised.
- Report any issues related to the exhibitions or on the premises which may compromise visitor / employee safety.
- Monitor general housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the venue; ensure facilities remain in good repair, and that employee and customer safety standards are maintained.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have 3+ years' experience in customer service, preferably in the arts
- 1+ years' supervisory experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience managing ticketing software or POS systems
- Have either a high school degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have dependable transportation for all shifts.
- Fluent in Spanish, or one foreign language a plus.
- Must have open availability, including weekends.
