Automotive Sales Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Sales Manager / Finance Manager to lead our sales team and oversee the financing process at our dealership. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in automotive sales. The ideal candidate will drive high-end sales, manage customer relationships, and support dealership growth through effective sales management and financial expertise.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the automotive sales team to achieve individual and dealership sales targets
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue
- Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing deals, including B2B and retail sales
- Conduct negotiations with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Oversee inventory management and control to ensure optimal stock levels for high-end vehicle sales
- Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities
- Facilitate upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance revenue per customer
- Conduct outbound calls, cold calling, and outreach efforts to generate new leads and opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Support finance department activities, including loan approvals, financing options, and compliance with legal requirements
- Engage in public speaking events or marketing initiatives to promote dealership offerings
- Maintain organized records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and financial transactions
Skills
- Proven experience in automotive or retail sales management with dealership background preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close high-end deals effectively
- Expertise in B2B sales, outbound sales, upselling, and lead generation strategies
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement
- Proficiency with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math calculations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong communication skills including public speaking and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of automotive finance processes, inventory control, marketing strategies, and dealership operations
- Ability to build a robust sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, and client relationship management
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in sales management roles with a focus on team development and motivation
