Mobile Pet Bather/Groomer

Zoom to Groom is seeking a part-time or full-time experienced pet bather, groomer and stylist for the Auburn/Opelika/Smiths Station areas. We are looking for a talented bather or pet groomer to join our team in the mobile environment.

Applicants must be able to perform in a fast paced and detailed environment. Preference is given to groomers with at least 1-2 or more years of experience. A working interview is required to verify grooming skills, patience with animals, and overall fit. We offer competitive, commission based pay with 5-7 grooms per day expected.

The bather and groomer should be able to:

-Bathe, brush, deshed, dremmel nails, clean ears, express anal glands, etc

-Correctly identify breeds, coat types, tools, uses, and techniques

The groomer should be able to:

-Complete all grooming styles, on all breeds of dogs to generally accepted breed standards.

Bather or Groomer must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to lift and/or move heavy pets and objects, the dexterity and confidence to handle, bathe, and groom pets who may be scared or aggressive, and the ability to monitor pets for signs of distress or disease. Must have excellent communication skills and a strong dedication to outstanding client service. You are expected to meet and exceed client's expectations for the quality of service provided.

Available to work part time to full time including rotating Saturdays.

-Valid driver's license, clean driving record & ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required due to driving the mobile van if selected to work in the van, must pass DMV by insurance company

-Must have an eye for detail

-Must be punctual and have reliable transportation

-Must be patient, friendly, out-going, and possess EXCELLENT communication skills with clientele & co-workers

-Must take pride in your work and maintain a clean area

-Commission based pay
