Position Overview: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by managing the flow of parts, shipments, and inventory. This position involves pulling and staging parts for jobs, processing incoming orders, handling shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will also collaborate with various departments, such as Service, Design, and Project Managers, to communicate updates and ensure smooth order fulfillment. In addition, they will assist with inventory audits and support the Warehouse Manager with purchasing, receiving, and other warehouse duties as needed. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The work hours are 7am-4pm Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and stage parts from stock for jobs and work orders.
• Enter inventory requisitions into the Spectrum portal.
• Inspect and stage incoming orders, including tracking down packing slips and updating the open PO log.
• Notify stakeholders (Service Coordinators, Designers, Project Managers) when parts arrive.
• Scan and enter packing slips and receive purchase orders (POs) in Spectrum.
• Package and ship sample heads for testing, submit orders on the UL website, and generate UPS shipping labels.
• Update the sample head test log with UL job and tracking information.
• Download head test reports and send them to the service team.
• Parts ordering for the service team.
• Process returns, credit work orders, and jobs as necessary.
• Assist with monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Support the Warehouse Manager with purchasing, receiving, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Spectrum or similar inventory management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with basic computer skills, including generating shipping labels.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
