Mechanical Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and manage complex mechanical engineering projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, HVAC, and construction management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to design and implement mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to assess project status, quality, and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, addressing any mechanical issues that arise.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within the mechanical or construction industry.
• Proven knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, plumbing, and sheet metal work.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Professional certification in project management (PMP) is a plus.
