Junior Social Media Producer

in

Myrtle Beach, SC

. This position will assist the social marketing department with an emphasis in social video content development, as well as content deployment and reporting for clients in the travel industry. This person will support strategic social media marketing plans and aid in executing social media content initiatives.
This is a field-based position requiring regular travel throughout the Myrtle Beach area for client shoots, events, and meetings. Candidates must reside locally and be available for daily in-person work within the greater Myrtle Beach community.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Works with the project team and client(s) to execute social media strategies
• Develops and deploys strategic social content with a focus on social-first video
• Partner with team members to develop and execute impactful content ideas and concepts that extend marketing campaigns and branding initiatives
• Assists with planning, coordination and execution of social-first video shoots in Myrtle Beach, SC
• Ability to capture lifestyle, event and destination video and imagery
• Ability to edit and package raw assets into platform-ready content
• Assist with content scheduling, publishing, and real-time engagement as needed
• Assists in social media reporting on a monthly basis that includes an analysis of current social activity and future marketing recommendations based on trend data
• Monitors industry news and trends
• Assists with daily client communication
• Responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget
• Innovate with new social video production techniques and approaches to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape

Experience & Skills Needed:

• Experience creating video content for social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, Pinterest, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
• Ability to communicate clearly in the proper social media "voice" and "tone"
• Enjoys creative writing and finds concise and clear ways to share key messages
• Understanding of all forms of social media interactions
• Is imaginative and loves to create and experiment
• Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and its application across social
• Experience working with social creative editing platforms such as CapCut and Canva
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be passionate about social and on top of industry best practices and trends
• Knowledge of social media marketing tools
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
• Very high attention to detail
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience developing social media content and video
• Prior advertising agency experience is preferred
• Travel industry experience or knowledge a plus
• Minimum of one year of experience required
• Must live in the greater Myrtle Beach, SC and or/ be able to travel to locations within the destination
