Member Services Specialist

We are a fast-paced and customer-focused financial institution committed to providing exceptional service to our members. As a Member Services Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working with members to meet their financial needs and build strong relationships with them.

  • Greets and welcomes members to the credit union in a courteous and professional manner
  • Efficiently processes account cash and check transactions including but not limited to; transfers, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, check requests, purchase of money orders, and VISA gift cards, stamps etc.
  • Accurately balances daily work in required time frame
  • Provides superior service and adheres to the credit union's quality service standards
  • Protects the credit union member assets by identifying all members when transacting business and giving information, adhering to security practices
  • Assists members with problem resolution for basic account issues
  • Competent utilization of multiple systems, including but not limited to Card Wizard, Jabber and Travelex
  • Conducts check negotiations and determines holds according to credit union policy and established authority

HOW TO EXCEL AS A MEMBER SERVICES SPECIALIST

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Up to six months of experience with cash handling or customer service experience preferred
