Job Description
:

Seeking a Test Engineer to support on-site, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift test bench operations for the Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) of a production Space Payload program.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Responsibilities include executing test scripts for the verification of Software, Hardware, and System requirements for applications in Space.
  • Applies understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) systems, especially RADAR, SIGINT, and/or COMMS
  • Programming in C and/or MATLAB for understanding of editing/improving existing code

Required Qualifications
:

  • BS in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math); or HS diploma with at least 4 years of relevant military experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance, or military control room console operator; or defense industry work experience with sensor systems, ideally RADAR, integration and test or operation and maintenance
  • Understanding of C, MATLAB and/or TCL programming/scripting languages

Preferred Qualifications
:

  • Working knowledge of RF test equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, etc.) is desired.
  • Programming and scripting skills in C or MATLAB
  • Scripting in Python or Tcl for understanding and editing/improving existing scripts
  • Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket
  • Experience with Space Payload or Space Vehicle (Satellite) integration and test in a clean room environment
  • TS or SCI for future opportunities is a plus

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
