PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a
Test Engineer
to support mission-critical aerospace systems in partnership with a global leader in space innovation. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of testing the software, hardware, and systems that will power next-generation space applications—from satellites to advanced communication systems.

What You'll Do – Mission-Critical Work, Every Day

• Execute test scripts to verify software, hardware, and system requirements for space-bound applications.
• Support integration and test activities for RF-based systems such as RADAR, SIGINT, and COMMS.
• Operate and maintain RF test equipment including Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve test outcomes.
• Contribute to data collection, documentation, and analysis for certification and compliance purposes.
• Adapt to flexible shift work (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift) depending on project needs—critical to supporting real-time operations and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications
What You Bring – Skills That Set You Apart

• Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) OR
• High school diploma plus 4+ years of relevant military or defense industry experience with sensor systems (ideally RADAR).
• Experience in integration, test, or operations of military/defense systems.
• Ability and willingness to work dedicated shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) for up to one year.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with RADAR and/or Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) systems.
• Exposure to space payloads or satellite integration in a cleanroom environment.
• Programming experience in C or MATLAB; scripting in Python or Tcl.
• Familiarity with modern engineering collaboration tools like Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of RF systems and test procedures in a high-reliability environment.

Pay Details:
$65.02 per hour
